The role of a Human Service Professional subjects them to direct, daily interactions with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). These professionals are uniquely positioned to discover, explore, intervene, and prevent such adversities.

With such diverse roles, Human Service Professionals navigate the links between childhood adversity and medical and mental health conditions throughout the life span; explore the data and findings from the ACE study to support their advocacy and policy efforts; uncover ACEs in client interactions; and provide strong support on the journey to resiliency.
